Where Has Sushant Singh Rajput's Case Turned After One Year?

It was on June 14, 2020 when Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. Right after his unfortunate and unnatural demise, a lot of questions were raised. And today, after the gap of one year since his demise, the same set of questions are still lying in front of us.

Today, hundreds and thousands of Sushant Singh Rajput fans are worried about getting the justice in the case. There are some people who have lost the hope in this particular case in getting the justice. Its because justice delayed is justice denied. The same sort of situation has been there for the last one year.

A number of angles came out on which the 3 major central investigating agencies started their work. One of them happened to be the drug angle which is being handled by NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau).

On the other hand, CBI also started the investigation on its own way, But nobody can expect any agency to take so much time in such high profile cases. It clearly indicates that something fishy is going on which is being hidden from the public domain.

There was a time when the people of the country were expecting CBI to take over the case of Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR). But after the agency decided to take up the case, there were huge expectations.

But over the time, it looked like there is something which is overpowering the agency. In other words, you can say that due to excessive pressure from the bureaucrats, CBI is not being able to work properly.

There are some insiders who say that CBI has already completed its investigation. And at this time, they already know who have killed Sushant Singh Rajput. But they are unable to take action against all the culprits due to huge political pressure mounting on their heads.

This is how other central agencies are faring badly in the SSR case. It's hard to believe that an agency like CBI has not made even a single arrest while investigating the same case for the last one year.

If you look around, CBI has interrogated so many people connected directly or indirectly with the case. But they couldn't make a single arrest in the case until now.

On the other hand, if you look at some of the circumstantial evidences, there is so much that are lying there to help investigate them. But they are keeping mum and just say a few words that they are still investigating the case with all angles open.

Well, this is not something which is going to work any longer. People of this country already know what’s going on. But they don't know the exact names that killed Sushant Singh Rajput. Also, people also want to know why they killed such a promising Bollywood actor.

Now, if you look at the case statistics (overall), you will come to know that it's still lying at some corner. No arrest has been made until now in the connection of murder charges. The arrests that were made initially by NCB couldn't prove fruitful. The court rejected NCB charges on the basis of the lack of evidence.

You might have observed that most movies released after the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput have fallen on the box office. This clearly indicates a changing mindset of the audience in 2021 regarding films.

If the above situation continues, then it will be hard to predict where the current SSR case will go from here. In short, nothing can be predicted at the moment. Talking about the general sense, fans, family members and well wishers only wish the case to be cracked as soon as possible.

But for that, it is required that the government should take interest in accelerating the case proceedings. It looks too pathetic when CBI has to still say that they are investigating the case even after a gap of one year and probing all angles.

Considering all the action NCB is taking these days, it’s hard to judge how they are involved in the case. It’s because the central agency probed the drug angle in the SSR case from the very beginning and even made a few arrests as well.

But all of them had to be freed as their case was not too strong in the eyes of the court. As per the latest updates, NCB has filed charges against Siddharth Pithani who happened to be the close associate of SSR.  It’s Pithani who first witnessed the body of SSR hanging with a ceiling fan.

Today, Siddharth is in the grip of NCB and has been sent to the judicial custody after NCB traced a few drug chats related to the case. These things can even prove a game changer in this case and can be used against him at the right time.
