After she was asked about her V day plans, she revealed that she would be going to watch the recently released Bollywood movie Gully Boy with her husband Ranveer Singh. At the same time, she also disclosed that her parents would also be joining her as both of them would be in the town. She looked dashing as ever.

Now, after she was asked about her forthcoming projects, she further disclosed that it is going to be Chhapak- A Meghna Gulzar Movie that is based on the lone acid survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. The best thing about this project was that the shoot has already been started and it will take a month's time for the movie to hit the screen.

As per the latest Bollywood news, Chhapak happens to be the next project for Deepika Padukone that will hit the screen only in the next month.

After looking at one of the pictures that Gulzar floated on her Instagram account, it can be clearly seen that her yellow duppata is already burnt due to an acid attack.

As we just disclosed that the above film is going to be based on the character of Laxmi Aggarwal, who is the lone survivor of an acid attack in the country, Gulzar has already confirmed the name of Vikrant Massey. He will be playing the role opposite Deepika Padukone in Chhapak.

Gulzar further stated that she already decided to take Vikram in Chhapak ever since she watched his performance in Raazi. With his spectacular performance in Alia Bhatt starer film, the movie was able to collect Rs 200 crore at the box office worldwide.

Now, as per the latest Bollywood news, Laxmi Aggarwal, (who is the lone survivor of acid attack in the country) also came forward to present her views on the film being made on her character.

She said "I feel it nice that they are making a film on my character. But I'm unable to comment on someone who is perfect in her own domain. We all know Deepika Padukone is a fabulous actress and has done in a plethora pf great Bollywood movies. And I hope she will work best this time too."

As per the latest Bollywood news, Deepika Padukone performed fairly well in all the movies she was featured in 2018. In fact, her most recent one happened to be none other than Padmavat. And after that she didn't work due to her marriage plans.

But now, the actress is all geared up to take her next assignment with a bang. She is about to lead in her upcoming movie Chhapak, opposite Vikrant Massey. It will hit the screens somewhere in the next month.
